Happy 4th of July!

We had a really great 4th of July this year, it was actually NOT hot!
We started with the Northbrook 4th of July Parade.


Then we played in the Annual Mikey & Friends Softball Game at Northbrook Junior High. It was cute to see the second generations starting to play - our Kyle and Matt and Kelly's boys Connor and Tyler. Kaiky and Madison were cheerleaders.





We had dinner at Grandma & Grandpa's house and did some monkeying around there until it was time for fireworks!

Lilies are blooming

These are planted along the front walk where the other flowers I posted earlier this year are. These are one of my favorite varieties and it looks like they will need to be divided this fall.

Following in Mama's stirrups

Here's our big girl horseback rider, Kaiky. She's very proud that she rides Mom's horse and has all of the accessories now to be a real rider.
